# Task Types

Task types are used to organize what you’re tracking when you create a new task. When you create a new task, you’ll have access to different features depending on what type of task it is. For instance, when you create a task for a quote (this is the task type) you’ll be able to fill out line items and generate a quote directly from that task. There are 25 task types in the WorkflowTitan system, and you can create a new task type within any of those categories.
